Wilmington Landscapes is a full service landscape company that has been serving the coastal Wilmington area for the past seventeen years. Offer service area includes Surf City, Topsail Beach, Hampstead, Porters Neck, Figure Eight Island, Wilmington, Wrightsville Beach, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach, Leland, and Southport.

Wilmington Landscapes offers landscape designs, and can install outdoor living spaces, hardscapes, paver patios and walkways, retaining walls, and outdoor lighting.

Wilmington Landscapes installs water features that range from a front entrance fountains to backyard Koi ponds with waterfalls.

Wilmington Landscapes has a vast knowledge and experience in turf management. As a licensed Pesticide Applicator, you can trust your lawn treatments to Wilmington Landscapes.

Wilmington Landscapes also operates as Illuminating Events. Illuminating Events is a special event lighting company. We transform outdoor areas and venues into breathtaking spaces using lighting. Our services include weddings, special events and during the Christmas season. We provide installation, all lights and supplies, servicing and removal, and storage.

From rope lights to rooftop icicles, net lighting to wreaths, we do everything for your outdoor Chrismtas light display. Have a palm tree to decorate with mini-lights? We’ve got your covered. How about a candy cane tree trunks? Want a group of snow covered Christmas trees in your yard or in front of your restaurant? Say no more.

RESIDENTIAL

Christmas can be a very hectic time of year with Christmas parties… shopping… along with all the other things life always throws your way. Hanging your Christmas lights can be a major headache on top!

Illuminating Events can provide you with a free holiday lighting and decorations quote. Our designs are elegant, professionally installed, and hassle free.

Our services include a site visit, complete design proposal, lights, decorations, supplies, service during the seasons and removal in January.

How much does your service cost?

There is no “set” answer to this question. The cost of our service depends on several factors, including the number of light strings you’d like to hang, the size of the display you want built and how long it will take us to put your display together.

How do you price your projects?

If you contact us, we will come out to your home or place of business and consult with you on what type of display you desire. Based upon what you’d like done, we’ll put a quote together for you. If the estimate is acceptable, we’ll schedule a time to take care of the work. As an aside, our service will generally cost less if we’re able to perform the work early in October as opposed to the holiday rush that typically starts in November.

Yes. Taking down the displays is part of our service, and it’s included in the quote we provide for you before we start work. We begin taking lights down on January 2nd and continue to do so until all lights are removed. Please be patient, it took us many months to put up all of those lights and removal takes some time as well.

Do you take the lights down at the end of the season?

100%. Our success depends on your satisfaction, and we’ll make changes if you desire them. We are interested in building long-lasting customer relationships, and will gladly provide references per your request. There are things that can happen to lights for a variety of reasons, including wind, rain and other unforeseen circumstances. If this occurs, our professional staff will return to troubleshoot whatever problem exists quickly and efficiently.
